PUBLIC NOTICE TO LAFAYETTE PARISH CITIZENS
Louis J. Perret, Clerk of Court and Chief Election Official for the Parish of Lafayette will hold three (3) meetings for persons interested in becoming certified to serve as follows:
COMMISSIONER
This meeting is for those who have NEVER SERVED AS COMMISSIONER
THURSDAY, AUGUST 28, 2008
Times: 10:00a.m., 3:00p.m. or 5:30p.m.
Location: Lafayette Parish Courthouse 6th Floor, Jury Assembly Room
Please attend one meeting that is at the most convenient time for you!
Pay is $200 per Election with required school attendance
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- A registered voter who is not entitled to assistance in voting and is not a candidate in the election.
- A seventeen (17) year old who is formally enrolled as a senior in high school.
- Must not have been convicted of an election offense as defined in Chapter 10 of the Louisiana Election Code.
- Law enforcement officers shall not be eligible to serve.
